What is Choppy - Pilot Logbook?
Choppy is a digital pilot logbook for student, private and airline pilots, on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web. It logs flights offline first, so it works with no signal at altitude, and syncs across every device when a connection returns.
It imports published airline rosters from 80+ airlines as PDF, CSV, XML or TXT, and takes your existing logbook out of LogTen Pro, CrewLounge PILOTLOG, PilotLog.io, ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot or MyFlightbook via PDF or custom CSV export. Night time is split to the minute from civil twilight, with no manual maths.
Beyond logging, it covers a guided EASA flight time limitation check, passenger recency under EASA FCL.060 and FAA 61.57, licence and medical expiry reminders, METAR/TAF/NOTAM for every airport, a map of every route flown, and bulk editing across hundreds of flights at once. Available in English, Catalan, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.
