What is Chobble Tickets?

Chobble Tickets is an open-source, privacy-focused event ticketing platform built by Chobble CIC, a Community Interest Company based in Manchester, UK.

It's fully open source under AGPLv3, meaning anyone can self-host it for free.

Chobble CIC offer hosting at a flat annual fee (£50/year, or £25 for charities and community groups) with no per-ticket cut - all ticket revenue goes directly to the organiser's own Stripe or Square account.

The platform offers features like QR code check-ins, pay-what-you-want pricing, custom domains, embeddable widgets, and encrypted storage of all attendee data.

It's aimed at organisers of community events like concerts, charity events, workshops, kids' parties, or political organising, positioning itself as a privacy-first, very affordable alternative to platforms like Eventbrite.

It's written in Typescript with minimal other dependencies, and as such is designed to be really easy to deploy on the Bunny content delivery network's "Edge Script" system.
