Chippie

Chippie is an easy job management app for trade and field-service businesses on the go, built for sole operators and small teams of up to about ten people. It covers the whole path from the first quote to a paid invoice from a phone.

Quotes can be dictated by voice on site and turned into a professional quote before leaving the job. An accepted quote becomes a job with its schedule, photos, documents and notes in one place, and a finished job becomes an invoice with a payment link attached so clients can pay by card.

The same app runs on iPhone, Android and the web with the same features and live sync, so the crew on site and whoever does the books see the same jobs in real time. Two-way Xero sync keeps invoices and payments in step with the accounts, and recurring jobs handle regular customers automatically.

Chippie is made in Newcastle, Australia by tradespeople, for electricians, plumbers, carpenters, builders, landscapers, arborists, handymen, cleaners and other trades in Australia, the UK and Ireland. There is a free plan for up to 20 jobs a month; paid plans start at AU$25/month for 2 users.
