Centawin

A tiny portable Windows utility that centers a focused window with a hotkey.

By default, Windows can't center an active window with a keybinding. But this feature is handy sometimes when you need to tidy up your digital workplace.

There are various programs that solve that problem, but they all have some flaws, like big size, long starting time, creating visual artifacts, inability to work with some types of windows, centering others that they shouldn't, working only with a main monitor, or inability to change the default keyboard shortcut.

Centawin solves these problems. It is a tiny program that starts immediately and doesn't have a graphical interface. All settings can be changed via a tray icon. The program works correctly with windows and centers them on the monitor where they are located. The default hotkey can be easily changed in config file.

There is also a version (1.1.1) without a tray icon at all for those who want to forget that the program even exists and use it like a system feature.
