CCTVplanner is a browser-based security design platform for installers, integrators and architects. It is built around a coverage simulation engine rather than a drawing canvas: camera coverage is computed from the selected model's sensor, resolution and focal length, anchored to the horizontal angle the manufacturer publishes, then clipped by buildings, fences and terrain in 3D and laid over real ground elevation.
Plan CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and PoE networks on satellite imagery or an uploaded floor plan, in 2D and in a browser-based 3D site view with a per-camera point-of-view walkthrough that shows what each camera actually sees, in daylight and in infrared.
The catalog holds 65,530 camera models from 110 manufacturers, each carrying an NDAA flag. Coverage is solved against both pixel-density ladders: the four-step DORI of EN 62676-4 and the seven-step OODPCVS added by IEC 62676-4:2025. A system validator runs 67 automatic design checks against 23 standards.
Deliverables leave the tool as a multi-sheet PDF with the camera schedule, the equipment list and one plan sheet per camera; DXF with AIA NCS layers for CAD; BOM and CSV; and a priced offer the client can e-sign in a branded portal.
It runs in any browser with no install, installs as a Progressive Web App, ships in 33 interface languages including right-to-left Arabic, and is engineered and hosted in the European Union. The free tier is permanent, not a trial.
