Calico

Calico is a Symfony application that publishes webcomics page by page on the Fediverse:

This webcomic reader service is built on Fediverse standards with minimal dependencies. Follow the guide and check out the screenshots to take the world by storm with your webcomics.

• Each author is an ActivityPub entity (Person) that can be followed on Mastodon, Pixelfed, Misskey, and more using the address @nom@calico-webcomic.cipherbliss.com;
• Each webcomic page is an ActivityPub post (Note) with the page’s image attached, an accessibility description, hashtags, and its license;
• Favorites, shares, and replies from the fediverse are displayed below each page;
• Registration is open but requires approval by an admin, who has access to a moderation interface;
• The interface is inspired by the WordPress Hestia theme: large illustrated header, “raised” main container, shadowed cards, Roboto / Roboto Slab, and a pink accent color.
