Borderline Fluent

Borderline Fluent is a story game you play with your voice. You are a traveller with a cover story, and at every passport desk an android officer questions you in its own language. You answer out loud. It listens, checks your answers against your cover, and decides whether you pass.

After the desk, talk your way through the city: a taxi, a bar, a hotel. Different borders. Same machines.

The game runs entirely on your phone’s built-in AI: no cloud, no account, and it works offline. The officers think with Gemini Nano through Android’s AICore; speech recognition and the officers’ voices run on the phone too. The game has no internet permission and no analytics. The camera is optional: if you allow it, officers notice when you look away.
