Boardhang information
What is Boardhang?
Boardhang is a free, open-source (MIT) web app for MoonBoards. It runs in the browser with no install and no account, and it is not affiliated with Moon Climbing Ltd.
Browse the full set of MoonBoard problems, including all the official benchmarks, across five layouts: MoonBoard 2016, 2024, Masters 2017, Masters 2019 and Mini MoonBoard 2025. Search, filter by grade, and save favorites. Your sort and filter settings are remembered per board, so every visit starts where you left off.
Light problems on the wall over Web Bluetooth, with start, hand and finish holds each in their own color. Boardhang works with DIY LED MoonBoards running the open-source ArduinoMoonBoardLED firmware.
Every problem has a web address, so you can send it to a friend and it opens in their browser. Sign in (free, optional) to start a session with friends: see what everyone has sent or tried, pick something to work on together, and always know what is lit on the wall right now.
A local logbook tracks your ascents and builds a grade pyramid, with CSV and JSON export so the data stays yours. You can also create your own problems by tapping holds on the board, with a live preview on the wall.
Browsing works in any modern browser. Lighting the board needs Web Bluetooth: desktop Chrome or Edge, Android Chrome, or iPhone via the Bluefy browser.
