Almost perfect. No more ads on Android! Works very well with all apps and browsers and does not need a rooted device. If I could remove the notifications completely I would not even notice that it always runs in the background.
It’s paid now. Used to be great before. It still is if you use the apk from their site instead of using Google Play, but it’s only a matter of time until they discontinue them. Don’t waste your time with this. AdGuard or NextDns is better.
Google store says not suitable for my Android 8.0.0 device. So I can not even install Blokada like I used to (on the same device).
ADguard for Android is still top of its game, so incredibly powerful it does cosmetic details and changes to every web page you visit if you wish. it has an in webpage assistant it even also runs extensions! Blokada does not have these abilities especially adjusting cosmetically every web page, Blokada used to have a mission. privacy and security the developers of changed and rerouted their their priorities the ultimate goal is to get you into their app and to get their VPN service which they push on you. with theforementioned alternative they also have a VPN but they also integrate with tor project while equally doing all the blocking. all the industry is coming down on these services they are doing their best to get rid of anything to do with blocking their ads choose something and choose wisely
Block almost all apps. Free and Open Source!
No longer free.
It does not block ads, it requires you to have a clean phone/tablet to block ads because the creators of this app only block ip address names like google.ads or amazon.ads to not show ads. This does not work on all ads that are server side like youtube or plugins.
Do not use this at all, it will force you to enable VPN, not the good one either. This "ad blocker" does nothing to block ads.
Blokada blocks pretty much all ads and even has malware blocklists to block malicious domains. One of the most useful apps on android!
