Excellent and effective extension, there's only one aspect that could be improved: on mobile it's perfect, you can even block a user by selecting the option from the three-dot menu. On desktop, unfortunately, you have to go to the user's page, extract their real ID from the page source, and manually add them to the blocklist. For this purpose, on desktop I recommend the De-Troll YouTube extension.

What is BlockTube?
BlockTube gives you the control over what content you see on YouTube. Now you can easily get rid of those annoying videos or channels that keeps popping up by YouTube's algorithm. The extension is lightweight and fast, does not affect your browsing experience at all, and blocks content 100% site-wide. Your playlists and autoplay features will remain to work even if they contain blocked videos. To an unsuspecting user, it will appear as the blocked videos were never there to begin with. It's possible to block channels and videos by keywords/Regex in their name or entire channels by ID.
It also features some extras:
Block comments from specific user or by content keywords Hide and block access to the Trending page Allow only videos in certain length range Protect options with a password
This is a most have if you have young children, who are extremely susceptible to clickbait videos.

PRIVACY NOTICE: I do not collect any information or data on you. This extension does not contain analytics/tracking codes. This extension does not make even a single request to a 3rd party server. The only data being recorded is your configured options which are saved locally only on your computer.
