Blade Hunter is a 2D side-scrolling beat-em-up action MMORPG in the tradition of arcade and console classics.
In Blade Hunter players may choose from four classes, the Knight, Valkyrie, Rogue, and the Mechanist. As players level up they’ll unlock the ability to use up to five separate special abilities in conjunction with their normal attacks.
The world of Blade Hunter is broken up into a series of hub worlds and individual dungeons which players can choose to progress through while fighting a variety of unique monsters. Like other side-scrollers, Blade Hunter allows players to chain visually explosive combos together for bonus points and maximum damage against groups of enemies. The MMO features end-level bosses which often times fill up the entire screen and may require you to kill individual portions of the boss before finishing them off completely.
Outside of PvE, players can upgrade their equipment and personal character through several different item enhancement methods and even mount upgrades which provide players with permanent attribute bonuses. PvP is also available to players in game through the use of Arenas which pits individual players against each other in a test of ultimate skill.
