What is Beamer?
Beamer streams video directly so it will be played natively on Apple TV and Chromecast. No glitches, clicks, pops or other shenanigans. The video looks just as good as it would on your desktop
Beamer supports all Apple TVs with AirPlay. AirPlay is available since the 2nd generation Apple TV, so the 2nd and 3rd generation and the new Apple TV (4th generation) are supported.
Beamer plays videos to the Apple TV out-of-the-box, no jailbreak required, no app to install. It also requires no extra installations on your Mac. Even Macs that do not support macOS AirPlay Mirroring are supported by Beamer.
Beamer is Google Cast-enabled, it plays movies directly to Chromecast (1st and 2nd generation) and other devices that have Google Cast built-in, like Android TV devices.
Other Features:
- Plays any movie file
- Plays Subtitles
- Use Apple TV remote to control playback
- Video Playlists
- Drag-and-drop video files to start playing

Comments and Reviews
Beamer 4 is only available under Universal License. 40/ year or $300 for lifetime universal license.
This is software as a service. They bundle bunch of apps I've never heard of or need. Looks like a small company. If they fold tomorrow, you'll out of luck.
