Bad Peggy is able to detect images with errors like damaged/missing header, EOF, invalid file type, missing content, etc. This is useful if you have old or recovered files. However, it does not (in general) detect partial corrupt images - that would be super nice, but seems to be impossible.
In my experience (maybe I use a newer version), it can detect also partially corrupt images.
