It's a lightweight Scrivener alternative. I never used Scrivener's bells and whistles anyway, so this is a perfect way for me to migrate away from Scrivener's rolling activation model that invalidated my paid-for license and could to so again at any time.
Still, if you need things like ePub compilation then it might not be for you. If you just want to organise your material, write your story and ultimately export to .docx then it's great.
Overall a great Editor and an amazing alternative to Scrivener. But you should be aware that no other languages but English are supported and there are no plans to add more in the future.
The interface is simple and elegant and the ability to open multiple files and have them tiled so you can see verything at a glance is quite awesome.
Atomic Scribbler is free and simple to use novel writing software. You can have your notes side-by-side next to your text document window, and rearrange them in any order in the tree sidebar. All the necessary files within the document saves to one location, so it's quite convenient.
