What is ASM - Arctis Sound Manager?
SteelSeries only ship GG and Sonar on Windows, so on Linux you get a headset with none of its software. I've been building Arctis Sound Manager to close that gap - it's GPL-3.0 and runs entirely on PipeWire. What it does: - 4-channel mixer - Game / Chat / Media / Output as separate sinks, with automatic app routing (browsers/video ? Media, games ? Game) and per-app manual overrides that stick. - Sonar-style EQ - parametric EQ per channel, 300+ game presets, bass/voice/treble macros, all applied live. - Spatial audio - HeSuVi virtual 7.1 surround with immersion/distance controls. - Device control - ANC / transparent mode, battery, mic mute, sidetone, and OLED customization on the Nova Pro DAC. Supports most of the current line-up: Nova Pro Wireless/Wired/Omni, Nova Elite, Nova 7/7P, Nova 5, Nova 3, Arctis 7/9/Pro Wireless, GameBuds, and more. Install (any distro, one command - also handles Bazzite/Silverblue/SteamOS): curl -fsSL https://loteran.github.io/Arctis-Sound-Manager/install.sh | bash Native packages too: AUR, Fedora COPR, Ubuntu PPA. Repo: https://github.com/loteran/Arctis-Sound-Manager It's actively developed and I'd genuinely love feedback - especially bug reports from headsets I can't test myself.
