Arduino Studio Alternatives

Arduino Studio is a programming environment for the programming language of the same name, Arduino. Free and open source, it is available on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Arduino Studio has not been in development since 2015, the last time a commit was made to the software. In its wake, there are several open source alternatives to Arduino Studio that are still in active development. These integrated development environments feature support for either Arduino itself or similar programming languages.

I'm not a VS user, and can't locate functionality I find easily in Eclipse (Arduino IDE). I'll probably go back to Arduino IDE, but I wish it was more stable.
