I wanted to build an information literacy tool disguised as an inventory app. Why shouldn't your personal belongings have the same rich, automated metadata as an Amazon product page? While automated cataloging has historically been taboo in the archival field due to past corporate mismanagement, we finally have the tools to do it right.
Arclyst uses AI Vision and whole-room scanning to instantly extract and structure data from your environment. It’s not just about making a list of your stuff; it’s about giving you true ownership and knowledge over your physical reality. We are actively updating the platform and moving toward a much more tactile, cinematic UI. Let me know what you think!
