What is API Model Forge?

API Model Forge is a free, MIT-licensed Windows developer utility by ALMARFELD. Paste JSON or load a JSON file, validate it with line/column diagnostics, select a root type name and generate models for C#, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python and Go.

A shared inferred type tree handles nested objects, arrays, nullability and differing object shapes. Identifier normalization avoids reserved words and naming collisions. Review the language tabs, copy output or save generated files through the native dialog. Models are inferred from the supplied sample, not a complete API contract. Kotlin and Python output notes renamed keys in comments; callers must configure serializer name mapping where needed.

Version 1.0.1 runs on Windows 10/11 x64. Extract the full portable ZIP and run APIModelForge.exe. Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is required separately. JSON processing is offline, with no accounts, uploads, telemetry or automatic runtime downloads. The binary is not Authenticode signed.
