What is Ancile?

Download Ancile - Remove Windows unwanted upgrades or spying components by turning to this portable command line application that requires no configuration..

Disable Windows unwanted components Ancile is a lightweight application that can help you tweak your Windows computer by automatically disabling potentially unwanted components or spy modules. Unfortunately, you cannot view a list of components that are being disabled in the process and decide whether some of them should be skipped or not. The application automatically removes or disable any module that might seem to be unwanted. Command line interface (CLI) This application is portable. Therefore, you do not need to install it on the target computer, as simply unpacking its archive's contents and launching the executable grants you full access to its functions. More so, this makes it possible to run it from removable storage media such as USB flash drives or external HDDs, as well, depending on your preferences. Requires administrator rights You can run this program in two ways: you either execute a new instance of the Command Prompt, navigate to the executable's location and launch the executable or navigate to the destination folder from Windows Explorer and launch the executable. However, it is worth mentioning that you must grant the command prompt administrator privileges so that it can run on your computer properly. You can either execute the command prompt as an administrator or right-click the executable and select Run as Administrator from the context menu. Failing to do so will result in program termination due to insufficient rights. Lightweight Windows tweaker that removes unwanted components or spy modules To wrap it up, Ancile is a lightweight command line application that can help you remove unwanted upgrades or spy modules from your Windows computer. It is portable, requires Administrator privileges and does not let you select the components that are removed during the process.
