What is Amazon Web Services?
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is an Amazon subsidiary providing cloud computing platforms and APIs to individuals, corporations, and governments. It operates on a pay-as-you-go model with autoscaling, offering services like networking, compute, storage, and IoT. Clients can access these services via AWS server farms, removing the need to manage hardware and operating systems. One key service is Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), a virtual computer cluster with high availability.
AWS delivers services through a global server farm network, charging fees based on usage and selected features. It offers various availability, redundancy, security, and service levels. Subscribers can choose a single virtual AWS computer, a dedicated physical one, or clusters. Amazon handles data center physical security, while account management and patching are the subscriber's responsibility.
AWS is a widely used cloud service, offering over 200 services from global data centers. It serves millions of customers, from startups to large enterprises and government agencies. Services include infrastructure technologies and emerging technologies like machine learning and artificial intelligence. AWS has a large customer and partner community, including systems integrators and independent software vendors. AWS is a flexible, secure cloud computing environment with robust security tools and compliance certifications. It has over 17 years of operational experience, delivering reliable, secure, and high-performing cloud services. AWS has an extensive global cloud infrastructure, recognized for its suitability for high-availability enterprise applications.

Comments and Reviews
I have made multiple attempts to use them as a complete website management system with email traffic, but unfortunately, it has not been successful. Additionally, AWS is noticeably slower compared to DigitalOcean, with a 30% lag in performance. With emails being flagged as spam and an unacceptable 89% uptime, which is not suitable for my needs.
I feel DigitalOcean and Linode are the best alternative and is way faster and simpler even in the dashboard.
it was ok like any web server but now it became so bad that companies have started moving away from AWS. 3 blackouts in a single month, downtime of 50%, complex pricing range, Log4j on all systems, etc. it is not worth it.
