What is Alpemix?
Primarily a Windows program, but with remote control available from Android or Windows devices.
Allows: Remote desktop control, file transfers, switching of screen sharing direction, text chat, audio chat. Also has a neat feature to leave a message on the desktop of the controlled PC after you disconnected.
This is essentially a very functional alternative to TeamViewer (that is clearly "influenced heavily" by TeamViewer's design.) The license model is very fair, compared with TV, e.g., it's presently 73 Euros/year for one operator to support unlimited clients. The operator can log in from any PC/Android device (from one PC/device at a time.)
That annual fee is approximately 1/10th of what TeamViewer charges for a Lifetime license with similar usage restrictions. So, it would take 9-10 years of Alpemix to equal the cost of one TeamViewer Lifetime license. Seems fair to me.
