What is AlliHat?
AlliHat is a native Mac Safari extension that puts an AI assistant beside the page you are viewing. It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, OpenRouter Auto, and Apple's on-device model.
It can answer questions about webpages, explain selected text, work with images and PDFs, and remember conversations for each URL. Agent Mode can click buttons, fill forms, scroll, and navigate. Provider keys stay in Safari's extension storage, and cloud requests go directly to the selected provider. Apple's on-device model can be used without an API key.
