What is Alcohol?
Alcohol is a powerful Windows CD and DVD burning software that makes it easy to create backups of DVDs* and CDs. In addition, the program lets you store your most used CDs as images on your computer, so you can call them up at the click of a button. It includes Pre-Mastering function and support for Blu-ray format.
There are different editions of Alcohol:

Alcohol 52%, CD & DVD emulation software, is available in two versions, free and 30-day trial. The free version contains an optional adware toolbar bundled and is limited to 6 virtual drives.

Alcohol 120%, the complete optical disc authoring program and disk image emulator. It combines all functions of Alcohol 52% with added DVD & CD burning capabilites.

Never really dig it, but few times I made use of it. It was alright, did its job.
It's an OG disk burning tool
The free version is limited to 6 virtual drives, instead of 31, and is limited to burning with 2 drives simultaneously.
clean setup, full shell support. even for image formats alcohol is not suppost to work with. nice icons. quick mounting... i tried winCDemu, virtual clone cd, gizmo center and of course daemon tools (for quite a while) happy i found this piece.
