The good thing is - It's gratis! You can test your prompts as long as you want, the whole day and week long, very sympathic. The results are nice, you can test 3 different modi, and in many different formats. So it's better than Craiyon to begin! The other very good thing is, you don't need to appoint and to login. And you are not nerved by ads and difficulties! Thank you Japan! It's easy to use.

Buuut... there are some disadvantages, and one of them is particularly annoying. I'll start with the easier things:

  1. They don't have noticed, that today everyone has at least 15,6" Screens... so the place for all is to narrow, it needs to modernized and widend, and adapt to nowadays use. I'm writing this on my 10" laptop, and the place is too less, as well as on my 10" tablet.
  2. There is no transparency about the AI engine used. It's self-developed, or it#s open source?
  3. I suspect there is a honey trap why everything is so easy... the makers of this site collect analytical information about user behavior and their interests, what they like to design the most, and then use it to create their own real better web application, which costs something. That's exactly how it was with open.ai until March 2024...
  4. the most annoying thing - CENSORSHIP! These uptight Japanese censor the most harmless terms, and they do so completely unequally in all three modes: if you generate something easily in one mode, that doesn't mean that the other mode will accept it - very annoying! :( Then you have to constantly change and think of other terms to express something differently - that's exhausting and takes time. In addition, the censorship is also completely unbalanced: political and historical things can only be expressed the way the Japanese see it, everything else is suppressed, i.e. dictatorial - that's unfair and backwards! Everything that doesn't correspond to their world view is prevented. For example, you can't make caricatures. Apart from that, they are pretty hypocritical when it comes to sexual depictions: on the one hand, they disgustingly allow images of half-naked children (?!), very strange, but on the other hand, they censor slang expressions for the female breast. I think they should mention on the website from the start what is and isn't allowed, then you save yourself trouble and wasted time if you've written something without knowing that the Japanese will feel offended. For that reason alone strange, because we know what strange customs the Japanese have (e.g. panty vending machines and worse). Conclusion: many good things, but In practice, it can be annoying and off-putting. They should work on this if they want to be more popular, because Stable Diffusion, for example, is also free, but doesn't annoy you with these unexpected restrictions and you can configure a lot more.
