Some websites look better with light themes than dark (or vice-versa). Dark Reader takes care of the webpage appearance. That leaves me staring at a sharply contrasted Firefox theme sometimes, but this extension automatically takes care of that. It's actually quite good at matching color themes with default settings.
What elevated it to 5 stars for me was the option to disable light theme matching - I'd rather not stare into a white sun if I get unlucky visiting a new site.
