AcidRip Alternatives

AcidRip is described as 'Gtk2::Perl application for ripping and encoding DVD's. It neatly wraps MPlayer and MEncoder, which I think is pretty handy, seeing as MPlayer is by far the best bit of video playing kit around for Linux' and is a DVD Ripper in the cd/dvd tools category. There are three alternatives to AcidRip for Linux, Mac, Windows and Xfce. The best alternative is VidCoder, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like AcidRip are Thoggen and Roadmovie.

AcidRip alternatives are mainly Video Converters but may also be DVD Rippers or Audio Converters. Filter by these if you want a narrower list of alternatives or looking for a specific functionality of AcidRip.
