AcidRip Alternatives

AcidRip is described as 'Gtk2::Perl application for ripping and encoding DVD's. It neatly wraps MPlayer and MEncoder, which I think is pretty handy, seeing as MPlayer is by far the best bit of video playing kit around for Linux' and is an app in the CD/DVD Tools category. There are three alternatives to AcidRip for Linux, Mac, Windows, Windows S and Xfce. The best alternative is VidCoder, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like AcidRip are Thoggen (Free, Open Source) and Roadmovie (Paid).
