What is AccSwitch?
AccSwitch is a lightweight Windows tray app for switching between multiple Steam and Epic Games accounts instantly, without logging out and back in. It works by swapping each platform's own local session files — Steam's loginusers.vdf and the AutoLoginUser registry key, Epic's GameUserSettings.ini and account ID — so no credentials, tokens, or 2FA codes are ever read, stored, or transmitted. Everything stays local: no cloud sync, no telemetry by default.
Built with Tauri v2 (Rust core, lightweight webview), it lives in the system tray with per-platform account chips and 1–9 quick-switch keys (Ctrl+Space to bring up the panel). Includes an in-app updater with patch notes pulled from GitHub releases.
AccSwitch is a smaller, independent reimplementation inspired by TcNo-Acc-Switcher, scoped specifically to Steam and Epic Games. Open source under GPL-3.0.
