Opera VPN now turns on automatically on public Wi-Fi networks

Opera’s free desktop VPN can now automatically activate when the browser detects a public Wi-Fi connection.

Users can enable the option in Settings VPN by turning on “Always use VPN on Public WiFi.”

The feature is initially rolling out in France and the United States, with additional regions planned.
