Opera GX adds Paste Protect against malicious clipboard code

Opera GX has introduced Paste Protect, a feature that blocks suspected malicious commands from being copied to the clipboard.

It is designed to counter ClickFix-style scams that prompt people to paste commands into Windows Run or macOS Terminal.

Opera says checks run locally, copied content is not read or stored, and the feature is enabled by default with address-bar and popup warnings.
