LM Studio Bionic launches as new AI agent for open models

LM Studio has introduced Bionic, a new application now in initial preview and designed as an AI agent for agentic work with open models.

Users can choose between Work Projects for tasks like research and document management or Code Projects for development work.

Bionic sessions can use local, cloud-based, or remote models, allowing flexible deployment and privacy control.
