FL Studio 2026 brings rebuilt FLEX, FL Cloud project storage, and new Transmitter plugin
FL Studio 2026 is now available for Mac, Windows, and mobile users, introducing a series of major changes to the digital audio workstation. The update brings a completely rebuilt FLEX plugin, with a faster, simplified interface and a new browser for easier exploration. Users also gain access to an expanded factory library, providing more starting points for sound creation.
Building on these improvements, FL Studio now offers integrated project saving to FL Cloud. Each user receives 500 MB of free cloud storage, protected with encryption and privacy safeguards, with the option to upgrade to FL Cloud Plus or Pro plans for up to 1 TB if needed. FL Cloud subscribers can also access a significantly larger Loop Starter library, enabling more options for inspiration.
Following these enhancements, a new plugin called Transmitter allows musicians to split any audio signal into separate Transient and Sustain components. Each part can be shaped and routed independently through the mixer, offering greater control over drums, percussion, or melodic content.
Additionally, Gopher, the integrated AI assistant, is now capable of organizing tracks, setting levels, routing audio, and generating piano roll and visual effects scripts. The chord panel can detect notes and chords directly in the piano roll to assist with composition. This release also includes a range of additional workflow improvements.
