Gemini introduces interactive 3D visualizations and models for deeper topic exploration
Google has announced a major update to Gemini, allowing users to generate interactive visualizations directly from their questions and complex topics. This upgrade moves beyond traditional text answers and static diagrams, delivering functional simulations in response to prompts. For example, when exploring scientific concepts, users are no longer limited to fixed visuals.
Building on these enhancements, Gemini now lets users manipulate elements within visualizations. You can rotate molecules or adjust parameters in physics simulations, such as initial velocity and gravity strength, by moving sliders or entering precise numbers. This functionality enables users to see how changes affect outcomes in real time, providing a hands-on approach to learning and exploration.
The interactive visualization feature is rolling out globally to all Gemini app users. To experience these simulations, users should choose the Pro model within Gemini and use prompts like “show me” or “help me visualize” when requesting illustrative explanations. This addition allows for a more engaging and customizable experience while interacting with complex information.
