Tripsy 3.8 brings advanced calendar integration with timezone tools and trip duplication

Tripsy 3.8 enhances the Apple-focused travel planner by introducing advanced calendar integration. Users can now display personal and business calendar events directly inside their trip itineraries, with fine-grained control over which calendars are included. These imported events are automatically adjusted to the trip’s local time zone, and users can easily review the original time zone alongside the converted time.

Building on these calendar upgrades, the event detail screens now present clearer date and time information, markdown notes, addresses, links, and quick access to directions. If the calendar event is identified as a flight, Tripsy displays flight information, offers flight tracking, and avoids duplicate flight entries when the trip already includes that segment.

Alongside these changes, a dedicated component in each calendar event now helps users compare time differences between their location and the event’s original time zone, indicating whether it's day or night at each locale. The update also lets users duplicate trips with more control, determining exactly which elements to copy to the new trip.

Further refinements include a more compact itinerary view, city markers on maps, batch assigning guests to activities, easier flight editing, a new lock-screen widget, and more.
