Spotify lets you edit your Taste Profile to better control your homepage's recommendations

Spotify is introducing a new beta feature called Taste Profile, designed to give users more control and visibility over how their listening habits shape their personalized experience. Rolling out over the coming weeks to premium subscribers in New Zealand, this new tool allows users to directly review and manage the factors influencing their recommendations.

Building on Spotify’s existing personalization, Taste Profile aggregates your activity across music, podcasts, and audiobooks. It brings together what you listen to, including favorite artists, genres, and listening habits, influencing what appears on your homepage. Users can actively influence these recommendations by flagging when the profile misses the mark, such as signaling the desire for more or less of a particular vibe or specific content.

Following its core listening data, Spotify’s Taste Profile now incorporates signals like your current interests and personal habits, creating deeper and more accurate personalization. Users are free to engage with the feature as much as they like, adjusting their profiles actively, or continue with existing recommendations without changes.

While Taste Profile is launching for premium users in New Zealand during its beta phase, broader availability details have yet to be announced.
