SparkyLinux 2026.03 released with Debian Forky base and updated kernel
SparkyLinux 2026.03 has been released as a semi-rolling edition based on Debian testing 'Forky'. This update includes Linux kernel 6.19.6, updated Firefox and Thunderbird versions, and new GCC toolchains. Installer improvements allow 32-bit Grub UEFI support on 64-bit machines and enable single-character passwords during setup. Existing rolling users can upgrade directly without reinstalling.
