Notesnook 3.3.9 adds inline audio playback, image attachments & code block language memory
Notesnook 3.3.9 delivers notable updates for users focused on privacy and productivity. With this release, audio files can now be played directly inside notes using a new inline audio player. This addition allows users to listen to voice memos, recordings, or any supported audio file without leaving the note editor or downloading content first.
Alongside these audio enhancements, the update introduces a new way to manage visual content. Images can now be attached as files rather than embedded inline, letting users keep important reference images with their notes while maintaining a clutter-free editing space. Following attachment improvements, the editor now remembers the language last used for code blocks, making it easier for anyone working extensively with code snippets to maintain a faster workflow.
For users on mobile devices, managing tags has been streamlined: when editing tags, those already assigned to the note appear at the top, reducing the time spent searching. These changes cater to users who organize notes with multiple tags on smaller screens.
Building on privacy controls, the app now allows non-logged-in users to delete all local data from the settings page, supporting safer use on temporary or shared devices. Additional refinements include improved horizontal rule appearance, updated reminder dialogs, as well as other minor enhancements and bug fixes.

Will they add client side STT transcription using Parakeet or Whisper model? This would be useful in some cases.
