Deezer and EJI partnership to filter non-human music recordings

Deezer has partnered with EJI, the Bureau for the Protection of Performers’ Rights in Hungary, to implement AI detection technology. This tool identifies and filters recordings made without human participation, and aims to ensure royalties are distributed only to human performers. Deezer’s system flags around 39% of its daily new tracks as AI-involved, increasing transparency in music rights management.
