OpenProject 17.1 adds automated project initiation and new meeting tools

OpenProject 17.1 introduces automated project initiation requests as an Enterprise add-on, allowing organizations to formalize and track project intake using predefined workflows. Meeting workflows now enable users to convert discussion outcomes into work packages and streamline recurring meetings by copying agenda items and results. Attribute highlighting, previously limited to Enterprise users, is now available in the Community edition for broader access, alongside performance, UX, and security enhancements.
