Kagi brings its translation service to iOS & Android with context-aware image translation

Kagi Translate, the AI-powered translation service from the makers of the Kagi search engine and Orion web browser, is now available as a dedicated mobile app for both Android and iOS devices.

With this release, users can translate voice, text, and images seamlessly in more than 248 languages while moving between locations. The core features from the browser version carry over to mobile, including document translations, a comprehensive dictionary with audio pronunciations, and deep customization for translation settings.

Building on these features, the mobile app introduces a unique offering: users can upload or capture a photo and receive a context-aware translation that interprets both images and their embedded text, moving beyond simple word-by-word conversion.
