Craft brings gallery view, faster collections, offline editing in beta, and new styles

Craft has released an update that improves performance and flexibility for all users. Collections now offer a gallery view, letting users arrange items in a grid-based card layout. Each card can display preview images, titles, and property fields as colored pills. This new view is currently available on iOS and Mac, with web and Windows support planned for upcoming releases.

In addition, collections are up to five times faster, particularly benefitting users who manage extensive databases. Importing large CSV files no longer causes the app to freeze, and scrolling through big tables is noticeably smoother. Additionally, large collections now open and respond more quickly than before.

Alongside these changes, Craft introduces offline editing in beta. Users can work on documents without a network connection, and changes will automatically sync once they are back online. This feature requires manual activation through the settings.

These updates are accompanied by further improvements across all platforms. To celebrate the occasion, Craft has also added five new Lunar New Year inspired styles, offering users fresh visual options for their workspace.
