ChatGPT announces full support for MCP Apps open standard

ChatGPT now fully supports the MCP Apps open standard for embedded app UIs, allowing apps built on this spec to run natively within ChatGPT. The platform adopts a standardized iframe and JSON-RPC bridge model, enabling seamless reuse of UIs across ChatGPT and other MCP-compatible hosts. Existing Apps SDK APIs remain supported as new features are integrated into the MCP spec after validation.
