Ensu adds offline knowledge packs and private note search

Ensu now offers downloadable knowledge packs that use local RAG search to retrieve passages from selected Wikipedia datasets and Wikibooks before answering factual questions.

Pack-based answers include source attribution, and Ensu says the feature improved factual-question results in tests of 500 questions, particularly with smaller models.

The app also lets users add a folder of Markdown notes for local indexing and retrieval, with edits typically detected within 5 to 10 minutes while the app is open.
