Nuxt UI v4 unifies core & pro features to offer a completely free, open-source UI library

The Nuxt team has released Nuxt UI v4, marking a significant shift for the framework’s component ecosystem. More than just a version bump, this update unifies both Nuxt UI and Nuxt UI Pro into a single open-source library, removing previous licensing barriers and expanding access for all Vue and Nuxt developers.

With this release, developers can access 110+ components, 12 free templates, and a full Figma design kit, alongside refined content and typography options. These assets come together in a single @nuxt/ui package, designed to streamline the creation of polished interfaces. As a result, use cases like landing pages, blogs, documentation sites, and portfolios can now be built faster without starting from scratch.

Importantly, features and components that were exclusive to Nuxt UI Pro users are now freely available, eliminating paywalls and broadening development possibilities. Building on these enhancements, Nuxt UI v4 also introduces workflow improvements, with more straightforward project migration and updated documentation to assist both new and existing users.
