Tusky 30.0 arrives with redesigned reporting, improved image editor & Tor support
The popular Mastodon client Tusky has released version 30.0, following its migration to Codeberg from GitHub. This update delivers several new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
One of the major updates is the complete redesign of the reporting workflow for Mastodon posts, allowing users to specify reasons when reporting content. The image editor has also an improved, modern look, and a new confirmation dialog prevents the accidental dismissal of the poll composer. Furthermore, the app now better protects post drafts, making it harder to lose your work when switching to other apps.
For privacy-focused users, Tusky 30.0 introduces support for onion services for use over the Tor network. On the technical side, an updated UnifiedPush connector for improved push reliability, support for 16KB page sizes, and a fix for a bug that caused incorrect threads to be opened. Additionally, the app makes it harder to lose drafts when switching between apps while editing.
