I'd take formal over the super bubbly "OMG good question wow you're so smart and I can't wait to answer because I'm so helpful and I enjoy helping yooooouuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!".

But nothing beats the Santa voice they have during Christmas. Sometimes it'll sound like an old wizard teaching you about the ancient and magical art of troubleshooting Microsoft products.
