Lovable launches Security Checker 2.0 with real-time AI risk detection

Lovable has launched Security Checker 2.0 with real-time detection for database misconfigurations, exposed secrets, sensitive data, and other risks. The tool runs automated scans and alerts developers if components become public or fail security standards. Its modular design allows continuous updates with new scanning modules and detection rules as threats evolve.

The company also introduced an AI-powered safety system that blocks malware, phishing, impersonation, and other harmful content. It currently stops about 1,000 projects daily from violating platform policies. A human-in-the-loop process supports these defenses, with internal teams removing over 300 sites in the past two weeks and working with external researchers to identify and shut down suspicious projects.

In addition, Lovable achieved SOC 2 Type 2 compliance on August 13, 2025, complementing its existing SOC 2 Type 1 and ISO 27001:2022 certifications. These credentials confirm that its security practices protect user data and exceed industry requirements.
