Xbox Cloud Gaming now supports cross-device play history across PC, console, and handhelds

Microsoft is testing updates to the Xbox PC app and Xbox consoles to unify play history for Xbox Cloud Gaming games across devices. Cloud titles now appear in the recently played sections on Xbox consoles, PCs, and Windows handhelds, making it easier to resume gameplay anywhere.

A new play history tile on both the console UI and PC app shows games played on any Xbox device, including console-exclusive and older titles, from the original Xbox to Series X|S—whether owned or accessed via Xbox Game Pass. The Xbox PC app also adds a filter in the Library for cloud-compatible games and introduces this history view at the end of the jump back in list.

These changes ensure cross-device continuity with cloud saves, allowing users to pick up games where they left off. Even games not available natively on PC will still appear in history and remain playable through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
