Hana by Spline update adds 3D projections, Liquid Glass effects, and video layers

Spline has released an update for Hana, its interactive canvas tool for dynamic content creation. The update introduces 3D Projections, allowing layers to be transformed into 3D objects, and a new Liquid Glass effect that simulates optical properties like refraction, distortion, and depth, following Apple's new design language. These effects are stackable, enabling layered refractions, and can be combined with 3D elements for more advanced visuals.

The release also includes support for video layers and Autolayout, making it easier to build responsive interfaces and integrate video directly into designs. 3D Frames now act as portals, embedding complete 3D spaces while preserving depth and enabling content clipping and layout management.

Performance has been significantly improved, with Hana now running roughly twice as fast when working on large scenes. All features are now available at app.spline.design.
