DietPi 9.14 released with Orange Pi 5 Ultra/Compute Module images, GZDoom package and more

DietPi 9.14 is now available, continuing its focus on delivering a lightweight Debian-based Linux experience for a range of single board computers. This release adds new DietPi images tailored for the Orange Pi 5 Ultra and Orange Pi 5 Compute Module, expanding support for recent hardware in the SBC ecosystem.

Following this, users can now benefit from the newly included GZDoom package. This modder-friendly application provides an OpenGL and Vulkan source port powered by the classic DOOM engine, catering to those interested in retro gaming on supported devices. Alongside this addition, the update refines platform compatibility with focused improvements and bug fixes for NanoPi R4S, R5S, R6S, R6C, Orange Pi Zero 2W, SOQuartz, and Odroid HC4.

Beyond platform-specific updates, the release addresses wider needs by bringing general performance and stability enhancements. Routine visual refinements and spelling corrections have also been implemented to improve overall usability and polish across the operating system.
