Telegram adds gift marketplace, batch story posting, and channel auto-translate

Telegram latest update brings a new gift marketplace, enabling users to buy and sell collectible gifts using Telegram Stars. Users can send these gifts via any profile, while those with multiple gifts can list them for sale, set their own prices in Stars, and mark items with a 'Sale' label. Search functionality lets users filter gifts by model, backdrop, symbol, or rare resale status. For sellers, listings can be canceled at any time by selecting 'Unlist'. Collectible gifts were first introduced in January, and some collections sold out within minutes, highlighting strong user demand.

The story editor now supports batch posting of multiple photos or videos, which is convenient for sharing highlights or creating themed compilations. Videos over 60 seconds are automatically divided into a series of stories, addressing user needs for longer content sharing.

The platform also now adds auto-translation for channel posts, making them readable in each user’s preferred language. This expands a feature previously limited to Premium subscribers and now becomes accessible to everyone when enabled by channel owners. Unlocking new features such as auto-translation has also become easier, as the boost requirements for channels have been reduced.
